Risk
i was talking with a friend recently about the title and subject of my manuscript, still in search of a book deal, which is Dangerous, Passionate, Alive, Free.
i was mentioning that when we live according to our true identity as imagebearers of God, those four words describe what we become. After all, those four adjectives are true of Him.
When i asked her what she thought of the title and the idea, she said: “i want that.” She was quick to add, however, that doing so is risky. As a result, sometimes it’s very challenging to live in a purposeful way based on our true identity as imagebearers.
True enough. Risk is central. In fact nothing of any signigicance has ever been achieved without some degree of risk.
