It is somewhat fascinating that Steve Jobs is talking about things like freedom from porn. First with the iPhone, now apparently with the iPad.

He has been roundly criticized, as is to be expected. You can read an email exchange here (WARNING: explicit language) between Jobs and Ryan Tate of Gawker.

It’s nice, i have to say, that someone with the profile that Jobs has is saying the things he is. i understand the iPhone actually isn’t pure: it still has content which is sexually less than squeaky clean. But the fact that he is drawing a line at all is encouraging.
