Gilkerson works with the ancient myth of The Sirens and applies it to the temptations we face concerning pornography.

His exploration of the many correlations is well worth your time.

In many ways, temptation is an invitation of sorts; a call to us to leave the path we are on and go down a separate trail following the “voice” that calls to us.

Scripture works with this theme also, if you think of Proverbs 5 — as well as other passages.
