Plea To Stop Porn: Update
Previously i posted on an appeal by two scholars, one Muslim, the other Christian, who wrote a letter to the hotel industry asking them to stop offering in-room porn.
That makes all the more interesting this decision by Marriott Hotels. There is no indication if Mariott’s decision was influenced by the official plea that was issued.
However, it is still encouraging news.
One part of the article that was interesting was the fact that demand for in-room porn as decreased. i would guess that the prevalence of porn on mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets is a big reason for that.
