Death Ride
XXXChurch, known for pushing the envelope and doing radical things to help set people free from the slavery of pornography, unveiled a hearse this week.
This is guaranteed to get a reaction.
One of the great things about XXXChurch is the way they alter the conversation and do things that are redemptively provocative. i can only imagine the conversations that would be stimulated by seeing this hearse roll down the street.
The hearse is a great visual representation of the cruel reality of what pornography is and does to a life. It’s a counter image to the endless stream of polished images constantly bombarding us with the false allure of unbridled lust. What happens when the camera turns off? What happens after the photo you lust after is shot?
The answer is, clearly, death.
