Porn Stars Are Persecuted?
According to this story on CNN, porn performer James Deen claims that he and his colleagues who make porn films are persecuted.
This all because California passed Measure B, which mandates the use of condoms on porn sets now.
Regardless of whether different parties think Measure B will accomplish what it set out to do; namely, make it safer for the performers who make these films, to call Measure B an act of “persecution” is ludicrous.
This is the sort of language we should expect, however, from an industry which thrives on selling lies.
The Holocaust was persecution. Modern day human slavery in the form of sex trafficking is persecution.
Deen is inconvenienced, but not persecuted.
