Are We Pornified? The Stats
XXXChurch tweeted these current stats just a few moments ago.
Sobering, to say the least. Overwhelming is more like it.
But there is more than what appears in the graphic above.
In the list XXXChurch provides when you click through on the link you can get a sense of the breadth of the issue. Of particular interest to me was the stat that among church-going men, 50 percent are watching porn and 34 percent of church-going women are as well.
The church has to get in gear on this issue. That means pastors and ministry leaders cannot act as though it’s a problem “out there” or for a very small minority of people in the pews. These numbers demand our attention.
