Steubenville

Steubenville. A town that many had never hear about is now infamous. And as with all cases of infamy, such pain.
Much ink, virtual and actual, has been spilled on Steubenville’s account.
Of the virtual variety, Ann Voskamp’s ink — After Steubenville, What Our Sons Need To Know About Manhood — was most poignant to me. It’s long, but it’s worth every bit of your time.
Masculinity is in crisis. That’s not hyperbole.
As Voskamp says:
When the prevailing thinking is boys will be boys — girls will be garbage.
And that is never the heart of God.
That’s what you have to get, Son — Real Manhood knows the heart of God for the daughters of His heart.
