Amanda Seyfried Says Porn Is ‘Scary,’ But She Still Supports It
Amanda Seyfried, who plays Linda Lovelace in the soon-to-be-released movie Lovelace, has some interesting thoughts on porn. And she seems slightly confused.
Lovelace starred in the porn classic Deep Throat, which was released to mainstream movie theaters when it was made in the 1970s. Lovelace later went on to become an anti-porn activist.
Seyfried says that Deep Throat was “spectacular” and says it was “exciting” that a feature-length porn movie was released to major movie theaters where anybody could go see it.
But then Seyfried says that the porn today is nothing like what it was before. And she says porn today is “on steroids; it’s scary.”
But even still, while it’s “scary,” she says she’s not against porn.
She seems confused. i know i am. If today’s porn is truly scary, how can she support it?
