Russell Brand On The Damage Of Porn
Comedian Russell Brand posted a video on his YouTube channel recently in which he said something i wouldn’t have expected.
He talked about the damaging effects of porn. Thanks to Fight the New Drug for picking up the video and running with it.
He articulates the issues really well and mentions, in a cursory fashion, the way in which brain chemistry is altered by porn consumption.
He speaks from past experience, and his honesty is powerful.
He knows he has been harmed by looking at porn and he knows it needs to stop.
The one disagreement i have with him is that i don’t think 50 Shades of Grey is soft porn.
