Porn Is Killing Us. Literally.
This piece in the New York Times about the costs of a sedentary life actually supports the concept that pornography involvement contributes to your death.
The costs of a sedentary life, according to new research are well documented. Researchers have now calculated how much watching television costs in terms of life expectancy.
So when you do the math, porn watchers have lost a good bit of their lives. They have traded away years for the sake of seeing yet another pornographic image which, probably was not that different from the pornographic images they watched the day before. And the day before that. And the day before that. And on and on…
i would be depressed to calculate how much of my life was wasted on account of pornography. So instead i will focus on the promise of restoration; that the loss is consumed in grace and redemption and God Himself brings new life where there once was death.
